About Dr. Couture
After earning a Master of Science Degree in Biology from Boston College, I attended the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where I received the Lamb Award, an election by my fellow classmates for the person with the most concern and care for the total patient. I completed my residency training at the Primary Care Program at the University of Rochester in 1995 and received the Haller Award, an honor given to the primary care resident showing outstanding devotion to patient care.
I’m a board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, with over 30 years of experience in the practice of medicine. Prior to opening this private practice in Wilton, I provided care as an Attending Physician with Stamford Health Medical Practice and served as Medical Director.
In 2009, 2018, 2021, and 2022 I was awarded “Top Doctor in Connecticut,” an award based on a survey of Connecticut physicians’ recommendations to whom they would send a loved one for expert medical care.
