Meet Dr. Couture
Dr. Carolyn Couture is board certified in Internal Medicine. She graduated from Providence College with a BS degree in Biology, received her Master’s in biology from Boston College and earned her MD from University of Vermont School of Medicine. She received the prestigious Lamb Award there which is awarded to the classmate that shows concern and care for the total patient.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Rochester Primary Care Program in Internal Medicine. She received the Haller Award there, which is awarded to the primary care resident that shows outstanding devotion to patient care. Dr. Couture was elected to Fellowship of American College of Physicians in 2006. Fellowship is an honor achieved by those recognized by their peers for personal integrity, superior competence in internal medicine, professional accomplishment, and demonstrated scholarship.
She has been practicing Internal Medicine in the Connecticut area for over 25 years. Dr. Couture has been named Top Doctor by Connecticut Magazine many times.

Interests
In her leisure time Dr. Couture enjoys downhill skiing, hiking and running and recently competed her twelfth marathon.
